Are You Planning to Travel Dhaka/Bangladesh?

Be confident that the COVID situation in Bangladesh is comparatively better than many other countries even though Bangladesh is one of the most densely populated country.

Yet, by implementing precautionary measure, Bangladesh authorities requested passengers arriving from coronavirus-affected countries should complete Health Declaration Forms and Passenger Locator Forms provided by cabin crew. Before going to immigration desk you have to drop your report at the Health Declaration Desk where auto thermal checkup system exists. You may be subjected to additional health screening measures at the airport when your temperature is higher than usual. Just keep in mind that,  On arrival in Bangladesh, all foreign nationals need to produce a medical certificate issued within 72 hours of travel indicating the passenger is COVID-19 negative.


For UK Passengers

Bangladesh authorities has issued quarantine requirements for the passengers arriving from the UK. From 16 January arrivals will be required to undertake a test after four days. Those testing negative for COVID-19 will be allowed to complete the remainder of the 14-day period through ‘home quarantine’.

Travelers from UK need to stay at government-approved hotels only. There are 17 such Hotels you can find.  The Bangladesh authorities will retain passports of passengers while they remain in quarantine and will return them at the end of the quarantine period.
